What you Didn't Know

I've always loved the way that a forest full of barren trees looked. Whether it was because of the winter, or even possibly a fire it always made me want to stare longer. I particularly like the vertical strength coming from the ground and the interesting way that the branches grow, twist, and turn. I used very warm colors in this painting which is a contrast from the cooler feeling of a barren forest. This original sold at the Altamonte Art Festival in 2008, however, prints on paper and premium quality archival giclees on canvas are available in all sizes.
