Tranquil Saunter

This painting was a really fun creation for me. Painting in this way is exhilarating and free to my artistic spirit. Really! This was in the middle of my Path series and I went larger with it and decided to do a monochromatic all in in blues. I wanted a cool forest. This original was very highly textured with all of the leaves, tree trunks, and gravel ground. It was also a "Name the Painting Contest"...the winner "Tranquil Saunter" . I felt it was very fitting and thats how I feel when I look at it and even when I was painting it.
