Tip #2 on purchasing artwork

Art can immediately transform a space. It is the final touch that completes a room. Some even say that art "must match". If you are purchasing for yourself, it will most likely automatically go with your current decor. However, some art just does not look good in certain spaces. Although it does not have to "match" it does need to be grounded in the room, as to not be out of place. Think of your furniture and flooring first. Accessories can be easily changed.  If you want something to match, find the style/artist you want and browse their gallery.  Don't let colors stray you from the painting you love.
