Still Crazy

This was my 2nd painting in the series that just ended up forming itself. When I painted this one however I knew what I was doing. I wanted to take the style and form of its predecesor "Crazy Love" and add a little more. Often times, people think of that crazy love in the beginning of a relationship....this is later...more colors, more layers, more everything. The threads are intertwining now. Reds, blues, turquoise, and translucent golds dripped in the known heart form. This original sold in Naples at art festival downtown in 2008 to a beautiful couple who I was able to hang the piece for in thier beautiful home. Off subject, but it's always nice to be able to hang the artwork and see its new home.
