I don't know where to begin with this painting and to tell you the process, but I'll try.

This is a 30X40 landscape painting of the fall season about to happen. It is very layered, but it's prominent colors are warm golds/reds/ and turquoise. I hope this painting gives you a good feeling or transports you to that special place. It is all about the desire for fall to actual start ~ where you can smell it in the air, the wind is slightly blowing, and the trees above are full & rich before they fall to the ground. This piece is a 24X36 painting of a tree with leaves of actual jeans. A place I visit in my dreams and I wanted to paint it for the rest of the world. I titled this "Ethereal Whisper" as a combination of two other paintings I have. One is called "Ethreal Glow" and one is "Celestial Whisper"...

This piece was created specifically for the Winter Park Day Nursery's Annual Charity Event. This event sold at the auction to a teacher at the school which made it even more special for me. I painted this painting live in front of Olde Town Brokers in downtown Orlando for the monthly 3rd Thursday art walk. I had no idea what I was going to paint when I got there..it was hot, I was wearing jeans, and it was sticky out and I was making a mess. At any rate I just kept painting and splashing around water, wiping it off and it was an mistakable stormy sky over water.

The hot sun swirls down on a breezy day...thick textured vibrant red tree...girl dancing beneath on the golden ground. Golds, reds, and browns were used in creating this earthy, textured, painting. This piece is a little more than meets the eye. I originally was struck by the awesomeness of this size canvas. It is just such an interesting size which I immediately was drawn to. I just started layering my paint and it ended up being an unmistakable sky ~ I highlighted certain areas where the sun appeared to be shining from the heavens as the 2 women travel thru the world. As an underpainting there are drops of waters which are to represent moments in time. This painting in rich in color with yellows, reds, turquoises, golds, and greens. Dimensions are 20" X 60" X 1 1/2"

This piece is very saturated in colors with a very organic sky ~ Organic meaning nothing planned, I simply laid paint around and let it pool in interesting shapes with some other techniques that allow for a very interesting texture. A bright turquoise tree stands in the middle. This original sold at an art festival in Naples in 2008, however I do have giclees on gallery wrapped canvas and paper prints in a multitude of sizes. This piece is very warm & cozy. I know, an odd way to describe a painting, but it is. On a canvas that was pre-textured and layered with organic shapes a very vibrant colorful tree full of life grows out of the deserted earth. The background is very muted in warm earth tones, however the tree is bright and layered with multiple colors. This painting was a really fun creation for me. Painting in this way is exhilarating and free to my artistic spirit. Really! This was in the middle of my Path series and I went larger with it and decided to do a monochromatic all in in blues. I wanted a cool forest. This original was very highly textured with all of the leaves, tree trunks, and gravel ground. It was also a "Name the Painting Contest"...the winner "Tranquil Saunter" . I felt it was very fitting and thats how I feel when I look at it and even when I was painting it.
