This particular piece has been a work in progress for quite some time. I've been laying down paint for over a year on this canvas, just waiting for something to evolve and appear to me. After many layers of paint, there was quite a bit of intrigue for me as an artist letting some of those layers peek thru. The top layer of this painting was all palette knife and a lot of use from the good ole' hands. I used different types of polymers, and acrylic mediums very liberally here.

You have to look closer to see, but this painting is very layered, not in texture but colors. I hope that you like the finished result. This painting is currently on exhibit thru October 31st and available for purchase at Corners Frame & Gallery in Winter Park, FL Hours are M-F 10-6

This is a painting of a girl on her little boat, more like a canoe actually, escaping in the night under a moonlit sky with shooting stars all around her.. This is a very textured piece of art with bold blacks/whites/silvers and reds used.

This original sold at the downtown Orlando Art Expo in 2011 however, I do also offer gallery wrapped giclees on canvas and paper.This original painting was a triptych which can be reproduced as a triptych or one image. Thanks for looking!

As with most of my art, please draw your own conclusions and thoughts behind this piece. The title is "The Strength of One".
