Brandywine Tree
I loved this tree..of course in real life the trunk was that chalky camel color and it had green leaves. I used to walk and ride my bicycle by this tree daily. I always found it to be so interesting as the branches were coming so close to the earth. (Where it separates was actually about 2 ft. off the ground.) It really was such a cool tree...I layed down different colors, first starting with golds and purples, ending with the finished version of this "Brandywine Tree" I decided to use black/red/white.

Illusion of Time
I've always loved the contrast of dark rich chocolately browns with subdued shades of blue. Turquoise, especially, has always been one of my favorite colors. I like the look of brush strokes, layered shapes, but not exactly so clearly as to where you can see the edge of where one circle begins and one rectangle ends. This was a smaller original that was sold in 2007, however premium archival quality giclees are available over-painted by the artist.
