Missing You Like Crazy
This is a 30X40 painting ~ original is available until purchased. Canvas giclees & prints available in a multitude of sizes to fit your needs & space.
This painting from my collection of heart paintings is specifically from the "Crazy" side of the art. I had "Crazy Love", "Still Crazy", and now this one, aptly titled "Missing you like Crazy" There are 2 little things about this painting that I wanted to tell you ~ 1. The heart glows in the dark (it's super cool, I walked in to my studio the next morning after painting it was an awesome surprise)

Autumn Daze
This is a 30X40 landscape painting of the fall season about to happen. It is very layered, but it's prominent colors are warm golds/reds/ and turquoise. I hope this painting gives you a good feeling or transports you to that special place. It is all about the desire for fall to actual start ~ where you can smell it in the air, the wind is slightly blowing, and the trees above are full & rich before they fall to the ground. This original is currently available as well as canvas giclees & paper prints in all sizes. Contact me for details ~

Nature Inspiration ~
I recently took a road trip to North Carolina stopping in, well, only 1 state in between from my Florida drive. I saw so many beautiful things in North Georgia, western North Carolina that you just don't see in Florida. As you know nature is my number 1 point of inspiration. It always has been. A lot of my work I believe starts by a simple moment in nature. Even if I don't actually start a painting thinking "I'm gonna paint this exact rock that I saw in the creek" *referring to Fire's Creek in North Carolina in the National Forest of Nantahala.

Winds of Time
This painting is 1 out of 5 in my first set of a mixed media series I started. Using just a palette knife almost exclusively gave me a freedom with the paint where the horizon ended in the sky began just blended together. I started this particular piece with drawing the outline of running horses. This was just a base for what was about to take form on the painting. As it turns out, you can slightly make out the shape of a back end of the last horse towards the left of the painting. The winds blow, we evolve, and sometimes there is a message from the past, or a glimpse into another time.

First Lady
This painting was created using acrylics, crayons, and other mediums. As you can see, a lady is seen in the middle of the painting flowing into the earth (or rising from it). This is one out of 5 in my mixed media series created mainly using a palette knife and the backs of my brushes. IF you look closely, you can see the trees growing behind her. This is a very layered, textured piece. Currently, this painting is being exhibited at Corners Custom Picture Framing in Winter Park, FL Hours are Mon - Saturday 11-6. Stop in and see it in person 1909 Aloma Ave, Suite A

Mixed Media Series
Currently I am working on a mixed media project. I am in the midst of creating an entire collection of work, all on canvas, but using different materials instead of just acyrlic grounds. I do hope that you follow me on my journey as I reveal these new pieces one at at time. As these works are much more intricate, they will be released slowly as they develop. One of the things I want to accomplish in my choice of materials is using items that would otherwise be thrown away but would add a sense of dimension, history, and thoughtfulness to the art.
Heaven's Bayou
Floating down a cypress lined bayou where everytime there is an opening in the hanging moss above you can see the beautiful stars and the stars reflection on the water.
This original sold to a private collector in Lakeland, however I do offer premium quality archival giclees on canvas as well as paper prints in all sizes and options. If you're in the Tampa Area, contact Nuance Galleries for pricing. If you're not in Tampa, just send me an email at studio@brenee.com and I'll take care of you. Thanks for looking!
