Oceanic Tide

A 30X40 vertical painting of the ocean tide ~ where the sky meets the water and the tides rush in and out.

Sitting on the beach at night mesmerized by the ebb and flow. Many nights I sat on the beach gazing for hours at this, listening to the sounds, and looking at the stars above.

I hope you enjoy this piece. The original is available until purchased. Prints are available.

Common Ground

This is a 30X40 very textured piece...
There is place when you lose your self and you find your self. There is a place that is so inherently crazy. Sometimes you are there. Sometimes someone else is there. And sometimes you swim in the craziness together, but it works. All these little nuances blend and overlap and at the end is a beautiful life or a layered vision of a life.

First Lady

This painting was created using acrylics, crayons, and other mediums. As you can see, a lady is seen in the middle of the painting flowing into the earth (or rising from it). This is one out of 5 in my mixed media series created mainly using a palette knife and the backs of my brushes. IF you look closely, you can see the trees growing behind her. This is a very layered, textured piece. Currently, this painting is being exhibited at Corners Custom Picture Framing in Winter Park, FL Hours are Mon - Saturday 11-6. Stop in and see it in person 1909 Aloma Ave, Suite A

Summer Escape

The hot sun swirls down on a breezy day...thick textured vibrant red tree...girl dancing beneath on the golden ground. Golds, reds, and browns were used in creating this earthy, textured, painting. The sky has layers of paint adding depth to the background. This painting along with my other work is represented by Nuance Galleries at 804 South Dale Mabry, Tampa FL 33609. Ph: 813.875.0511

Fall

This painting was done as a set with "Sunset". I used rich dark colors that saturate the sky while having bright trees grow out of the darkness. Please draw your own conclusions. This original sold at the Uptown Altamonte Art Festival in 2009, however you can still purchase archival gallery wrapped giclees on canvas & paper. If you do not see the size you would like, please contact me for custom requests or other options. As always, thank you for looking!

Crazy Love

This was the first painting I did in my heart series...when I began this piece I had no idea what I was doing..I was just laying on the yellows organically by letting the paint flow and drip. After mixing up a few shades of a deep, bright reds, and more acrylic polymer, I dripped the red with a palette knife..until a heart formed. The heart was the last thing and once I saw it I realized it was finished. I titled this painting "Crazy Love" because it encapsulates that feeling.
