Winds of Time

This painting is 1 out of 5 in my first set of a mixed media series I started. Using just a palette knife almost exclusively gave me a freedom with the paint where the horizon ended in the sky began just blended together. I started this particular piece with drawing the outline of running horses. This was just a base for what was about to take form on the painting. As it turns out, you can slightly make out the shape of a back end of the last horse towards the left of the painting. The winds blow, we evolve, and sometimes there is a message from the past, or a glimpse into another time. As with all my paintings, I encourage you to look deeper to see something more than meets the eye ~
