Moonlit Dreams

I don't know where to begin with this painting and to tell you the process, but I'll try.
I had at first made a very fluid background with bright blues & greens. After sitting and looking at it for a few days trying to decide what I should do further, I started using my palette knife with contrasting colors. I barely let the original blue & green peek thru but I did want you to see them ~ Usually, with the sun or moon that is typical of my paintings I am not so dramatic with it, and tend to have the most noticeable marks be directly from the moon being very close to it. In this piece I took the moon's light even further. That place in the middle of the night where you can see everything ~ and everything is clear.
